Are you an artist or arts workshop leader? Could you help run an arts project? Would you like to live and work in Latin America? If so, then we have the project for you…
Cmap works in partnership with a local NGO in Brazil, providing professional arts practitioners who integrate creative workshops with the organisation’s own programmes. The programme has a strong emphasis on helping children and young people get their voices heard in their local community, nationally and internationally.
Cmap offers street-involved children innovative creative experiences that can build their self-confidence and sense of self-worth. They also work to give the children practical creative skills and the confidence and support to go on and use those skills in the future.
Cmap is run by volunteer artists, arts educators and practitioners from the UK who spend 6 to 12 months in-country delivering the programme.
